Here's the source of some of my steps at this page but pasting it here in case it dies This apparently prevents the game from using more than 1 processor which might be causing the crash (I'm not sure, this is secondhand info). The steps I found elsewhere to prevent random crashing is to go into aqrit.cfg and change SingleProcAffinity to a value of 1.
